POST_Log is a series of electroacoustic miniatures that where originally created to keep track of ideas and sonic relationships for my piece for percussion and electronics, Parataxis.  As I continued to accumulate these collections of material, I began to realize that many of them were interesting in their own right, and would ultimately work well as a companion piece to the percussion work.

Much like Parataxis, these pieces explore and exploit strong binary relationships or dualities; these range from electronic vs. acoustic 'instrumentation', to extreme dynamic contrasts.  To me they also explore and try to evoke feelings of isolation, remoteness, and depression; these feelings imbued therein stem both from personal struggles and also from the sources of the recordings often coming from decrepit or derelict buildings/places.
